I always made fun of Peter for not leaning to Jesus when he was right there. But now I completely understand why.
Instead, Peter leaned on a friend. I do not believe it was accidental that it was in the scripture anymore. I truly believe it was intentional.
Strong people need help carrying heavy burdens.
Jesus loves answering prayers through other people.
Jesus enjoys seeing us vulnerable and humble.
Who is carrying your burdens with you?
Who are you carrying burdens for?
What prayer have you been trying to fight all by yourself?
